Ada Cordova Participates in the 2nd Concacaf Coach Education Conference
From November 17th to 18th, San Pedro’s Coach Ada Cordova attended the 2nd Concacaf Coach Education Conference in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Coach Wayne Cassimiro accompanied Coach Cordova for the event. The conference is a landmark regional learning and knowledge-sharing experience for coaches, technical leaders, and visionaries within the football community.

The Inter-Office Football Tournament finals are scheduled for Saturday, November 22nd, at the Ambergris Stadium. The championship match kicks off at 7:30PM and will feature defending champions Team Ramon’s Village facing the San Pedro Town Council (SPTC).

Katy Sealy wins gold and silver for Belize at the 2025 NCCMA in Mexico
Belizean athlete Katy Sealy proudly represented the country at the 2025 North, Central American, and Caribbean Masters Athletics (NCCMA) Championships, held from November 6th to 9th in Mexico City, Mexico, earning an impressive total of four medals for Belize. Sealy captured gold medals in the triple jump and high jump, along with silver medals in the shot put and discus events.

After three weeks of competition, the Island League Football Tournament saw a shake-up at the top of the standings. Former leaders Joker FC have slipped to second place, while Boca Bombers FC climbed from third to take the lead. Survivor United also made a strong leap, moving into third place after previously sitting in fifth.

Team Belize wins Fifteen Medals at the 2025 Central American Games
The 12th edition of the Central American Games concluded on Thursday, October 30th, in Guatemala, with Belizean athletes delivering strong performances across multiple disciplines. Among the final competitors representing Belize were San Pedranos Johann Marin and former Miss San Pedro, Alexa Acosta, both competing in the weightlifting championships. Acosta made history as the first Belizean female athlete to compete in weightlifting at the Central American Games.

Belize Billiards Team Grab Gold in Central American Games
Belize has claimed its first gold medal of the XII Central American Games in Guatemala City, where Nain Jorge Rosado and Immer Lima delivered a standout performance in the 9-Ball Team Billiards Championship on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Rosado and Lima secured the historic gold after outplaying Guatemala’s Luis Lemus and Everest López in a commanding final match that placed Belize at the top of the podium in cue sports. Also joining the Belize National Billiards Team is San Pedro’s own Karla Gillett, who claimed a bronze medal along with Selvani Yasmin Leiva in the Women’s 8-Ball Team Billiards competition.

SPHS Female Volleyball Team Wins Regional Tournament
On October 25th, the San Pedro High School (SPHS) female volleyball team clinched the regional championship at the Orange Walk Sports Complex. The knockout-style tournament featured four female and four male teams from across the northern region, each competing in high-intensity, best-of-five matches for a chance to advance to the next round. SPHS secured the title after defeating Orange Walk Technical High School (OWTH) in their opening game and later triumphing over Corozal Community College (CCC) in the finals.

The Island Academy emerged as the top contender in both the male and female divisions during the San Pedro primary school volleyball elimination tournament held on Friday, October 24th, at the San Pedro Roman Catholic Primary School. The competition brought together local schools vying for the chance to represent San Pedro at the upcoming Belize District Primary School Volleyball Finals, scheduled for November 11th at Swift Hall in Belize City.

Interoffice Football Tournament Rolls Into Semi-Finals
After several exciting weeks of competition, the Interoffice Football Tournament is nearing its climax, with the semi-finals set to kick off on Sunday, November 2nd. Four teams, Ramon’s Village Resort, Alaia, Mahogany Bay, and the San Pedro Town Council (SPTC), have advanced and will now battle for a coveted spot in the finals. Defending champions Ramon’s remain determined to hold onto their title.
